12th International Weber Symposium

The 12th International Weber Symposium on Innovative Fluorescence Methodologies in Biochemistry and Medicine, "Weber Symposium", will be held in Genoa, Italy, on June 15-20, 2025.

The symposium honors the fundamental and far-reaching contributions of Professor Gregorio Weber. It provides an overview of modern fluorescence methodologies and applications in the biological and medical sciences. Weber symposia have been held roughly every three years since 1986 in various locations such as Italy, Hawaii and Brazil. Speakers describe state-of-the-art and emerging technologies.

TOPICS

  • Time-resolved fluorescence

  • Lifetime and Spectral Phasors

  • Förster resonance energy transfer

  • Multi-photon fluorescence microscopy

  • Super-Resolution microscopy

  • Single-molecule studies

  • Fluctuation correlation spectroscopy

  • Fluorescence imaging spectroscopy

  • Macromolecular (nucleic acids and proteins) interactions

  • Membrane dynamics

  • Quantitative cellular dynamics

The deadline for the registration and abstract submission es January 31th 2025
